Handcrafted Tiger Maple Segmented Wooden Bowl

This Large Tiger Maple bowl took a week to glue up and was a fun turning on my lathe. This is one the largest bowls that I have made to date. The Tiger Maple  wood came from Austin TX.

This bowl was hand crafted and turned on my wood lathe.

Tiger Maple is an exotic hardwood with a distinctive wavy or curly pattern that can resemble tiger stripes. Also known as curly maple or flame maple, tiger maple’s durability and its array of patterns make the wood a popular with woodworkers who want to design a unique, decorative piece of furniture.

A large Tiger Maple – hand tuned, one-of-a-kind bowl suitable for offerings, display, dried herbs etc . . . Finish is satin hand rubbed and food safe.

Remember there is only one of this bowl making it a unique. No two pieces are the same. Each will have different grain patterns and colors.
